Microsoft Copilot visibility tracker
Copilot is the AI assistant inside Windows, Edge and Microsoft 365, which makes it a work tool for B2B buyers. It searches Bing before almost every answer. Yozigo tracks Copilot daily on Momentum, Authority and Enterprise.
How does Microsoft Copilot choose which brands to name?
Copilot almost always searches first
its searches were visible in 99.9% of answers in our data, about one per answer, and 99.3% of answers cited sources. It draws on Bing’s index, so pages Bing has not indexed are unlikely to be cited.
It names about 15 brands per answer and cites review and directory sites such as G2 and Clutch alongside LinkedIn. For B2B brands, complete and current listings on those sites are a direct way into Copilot’s answers.
